Miley Cyrus from her video for the song ‘Wrecking Ball’

One of the bands from the 1990’s that I miss the most is Jellyfish. They were a power pop group from California. I loved their mix of complex music and clever lyrics. Here is a video of a live performance of a song off their now classic “Spilt Milk” called “New Mistake”.
When I was at Ohio State in the late 80’s (yes I’m old) Royal Crescent Mob was the boss local group who were going to get that big break. I remember going to a show at the OSU student union and hearing their punk-funk of “Get on the Bus” and “NaNaNa” – R.C. Mob’s live shows were killer. But I like this tune off their 2nd and last major label album “Midnight Rose’s” in 1991.
