James Brolin scared the crap out of me when I was a kid

James Brolin is the father of actor Josh Brolin (Jonah Hex and The Goonies) and is also known as Mr. Barbra Streisand. If you are my age you remember James is an actor with a long resume. Most would know him from the Marcus Welby, M.D. show (1969–1976) and Hotel (1983–1988). But whenever I see him today I always remember him from a TV movie he did in 1973 called “Trapped!” which scared the crap out of me for years.

Trapped” was about a man (Brolin) who is accidentally locked in a department store overnight and finds himself held at bay by six vicious Doberman guard dogs. For a TV movie it was very scary and well done.

What scared me back then wasn’t the vicious dogs but the idea of being trapped in a locked store overnight with a pack of vicious dogs.

    I always liked James Brolin when I was a kid.reminds me of my father who passed away early in my life.

    When I say early I mean the bastard just up ,and left my mother with 4 kids.She told us he had died in Nam ,but that was a lie.
